Earth Hour 2008
In case you’re not aware, Earth Hour 2008 takes place tonight at 8:00pm. Dublin is taking part this year and I plan to do my bit for Earth Hour later. So do your bit and help the world’s global warming issues by switching off your lights etc. at 8:00pm (or 1:00pm in California, 9:00pm in Germany, or 6:00am tomorrow in Queensland).

Indeed which ever way you want to say it, I’m 365 days or 12 mths or 1 year in Oz today!
Usually this would be a time for reflection, but as I don’t have the time (must study some more) I won’t! :-)
Tsunami alert!
Well the East Coast of Australia woke up this morning to a tsunami alert! In the early hours of last night a tsunami hit the Solomon Islands.
This therefore put the East Coast on tsunami alert and the authorities have closed all beaches, and most of the ferry services in Sydney until further notice.
